May Steel Shoot Pictures

Postby David on Sat May 24, 2008 9:18 pm

Here are a few of the better pics from the 266 pics that Rich and I took today. Sorry that the two of us are a bit over-represented in them. And sorry for the corny captions.

RET shows clear to Andrew.

I don't remember everyone's name. Sorry!

Some other shooters stop by to watch.

Brit with his two-tone SIG.

China shows off a winning attitude.

Some stages required the use of strong or weak hand only shooting.

Steve begins the fourth stage.

China doesn't let the teaching moment slip past!

This gentleman looks like he's "thinking outside the box," but this stage requires movement, and he's still doing it.

Benny races with his race gun.

I don't remember this gentleman's name either, but he gets huge style points for using the P7.

Kjersten, Katja, and Kristina wait their turn during the Man V....uh, the Woman Vs. Woman. Sigh...

This was a really fun day! A slightly sprained or pulled ankle and nice case of sunburn were two things I brought home with me. No worries now, though. Bushmills works wonders.

They are great pictures! Please note - on the left of the last photo - my trophy. And on the third to the last, my three former trophy girlfriends. I married the uber trophy ;)

I don't think Rucker was sleeping BRIT - he was suffering shock from the massive head wound - give him a little slack!

Does anyone know how to make animated GIFs from jpgs? I ask because Rich's camera takes really fast strings of pictures, and there are a few sequences of several of you that, when strung together, would look...well, awesome. Serious avatar potential here, if nothing else.

Finally unloaded my camera. Here's some low-res video of JFettig, looking good but getting beat. I couldn't quite make out, somebody tell me, who's the guy in the orange hat that wins here?

Great pics David. Does anyone know who the mystery man in the black tee shirt is?

Here's another one: a victorious Andrew.

Let me know if this QuickTime format doesn't work for you.

(Though in that case I might just tell you, "get a modern computer ya freakin redneck moron", depending on how many beers I've had. But even if I do, I'll apologize in the morning.)
