The first EFFEN Saturday in June at the Gopher!!!

Okay boys and girls, it's time for another OCB (Open Carry Breakfast) at the EFFEN Gopher Bar on June 7th at 9:00 A.M. The first event was a grand success, but February was the Winter Carnival, March was the Hockey Tournament, April I was in New Zealand, and May I had just come back from a business trip and was exhausted.

Now, since the first event, something REALLY INTERESTING has happened. While there were 50 of us and about 6 unarmed people who showed up for an early lunch, the word about this breakfast has somehow spread to the regular denizens of the Gopher, and Cheri has been beseiged by request from a lot of her regulars (as in people who have been customers for 10 - 20 years!) to get in on the event. (!!!)

Considering that we had 50 tcc and mnguntalk members alone, and that the capacity of the bar is 74 people, there may be the possibility if enough regulars show up that latecomers may have to wait in line or not be able to attend. Hopefully that won't be the case, but it may happen.

As such, it will be first come, first served in getting back to me with reservations by PM on tcc and mnguntalk, and please make sure you only book places on one forum or the other.

The deal will be the same as last time, with the breakfast buffet being $10 a head, kids under 5 eat free. You will have to pay for your own coneys, but if you don't have the buffet, you don't have to pay the $10.
Buffet includes coffee, tea, and juice, and you have to buy your own drinks and pop. Food will include scrambled eggs, Cheri's kick-ass French Toast, bacon and some really yummy sausages, and hash browns.

REMEMBER!! PM me if you are definitely coming, and let me know how many buffets, and how many coneys you plan on having.

are you going to post some numbers or list of attendees confirmed beforehand?

(and if you need an extra body in the way in the kitchen to help cook, I could be tapped to lend a hand - it's been a number of years since my restaurant days, but I'm pretty sure I can still cook hashbrowns and bacon with the best of em...)
