Ist Anniversary Of MNGunTalk.com *AUGUST 10th*

Postby westberg on Wed Jun 25, 2008 11:39 am

The 1st Aniversary Grilling and Shooting Party has been set;

Where: Beaverbrook Tri-County Sportsman's Club
Website- http://www.beaverbrook.us/
Link for directions- http://www.beaverbrook.us/Club_Info.html
Date- August 10, 2008 Sunday
Time- 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.

I have a poll attached to try and get an idea for a head count for food and drinks. I know we have some very experienced BBQer's as members please let me know if your interested in helping out or we will have to burn burgers and dogs. If there is an interest I have a wild hog ham to donate.
I will be donating some items for door prizes and will be putting the list together over the next couple of days. ttousi has donated a permit class, range fees will have to be covered by the winner. This prize can be used for renewal or a family member, can not be sold. Anybody else interested in donating products or services please pm me and I will keep track.

We will need volunteers for Range Safety officers and maybe a course or two range design if there is an interest.
Should we have pot luck dishes?
Should we have door prizes or a good old fashion turkey shoot say with 22 rifles?
Anybody interested in volunteering to help out pm me.
Anything I'm missing don't be shy, I know its hard for some of you to voice your opinions........

It is ok to have adult beverages at this range and the obvious is after your done shooting. The question then becomes should it be provided by the organizers or bring your own. My thought is bring your own and this limits any potential liabilities to the range, MNGunTalk and volunteers.

I look forward to more of your insightful questions...............

I would suggest BYOB for liability issues, for people driving home etc. And there is not a box for those who cant make it as we have to work :(

I'm going to petition the wife for a date day. I may be able to bring a keg of homebrew along for after the shootin'.
No promises.

I guess Sundays are OK for Heathens and the Sons of Israel, but some of us will be in Church.

Enjoy Guys.

From 2 to 9? That's a long service. I hope you have the heavily padded pews.
