Class? We got no class here.

Seriously, it's a "run what ya brung" type of setup. So, you'll be competing directly against selurcspi and his tricked out race gun for bragging rights.

Tested 2 years ago, I'm 2 seconds faster with the race gun than I am with the stock gun over the 12 recorded stages...It's the Injun, not the arrow. :D :D :D

What kind of distance and how big of targets are being used.
you should go, it is a lot of fun. Distances are not unreasonable and target size varies but are plenty large, it isn't bullseye shooting, you either hit or you don't ( and then you keep trying).

Yep, it's the only way I've managed to beat him.

Does not matter the skill level, it's all about having fun. I have won and lost in man v man, and always had a smile on my face after the run. Looking forward to having a fun day with a great bunch people on Saturday.

Good luck and God's Speed in recovery. I'm trying to get doc to go ahead and do mine, but it doesn't look like he's going to work on me yet. I've lost 103 lbs since last Aug (2012) and the Sucker (being nice) wants another 80+. He doesn't seem to comprehend the fact that without being able to excercise, let alone walk more than a few feet at any given time, I am facing a nearly impossible task.

Please keep us posted Pat. I wish you well,

They can do that now? Maybe I should look into getting my cool replaced, but being in MN for the winter might take care of that for me.

Seriously though, good luck with it Pat.

Okay since this a "run what you brung" event. I now have someone asking if they can shoot their FN FiveSeven. What's the verdict on that one???

Can't make this shoot, but as a heads up for those driving by Glencoe, fleet supply had Federal 50 round and 325 bulk packs for 4 somthing and 20 somthing each. Have a safe shoot.

The Ultimate 2013 Bang Ping

Postby Ron Burgundy on Sat Oct 19, 2013 7:13 am

Drove out to the inlaw's farm yesterday since it is closer to Hutch. Woke up and found that I left my rig at home. So, unless I can through rocks at the targets from the low ready, I don't think I'm going to make it. Good luck everyone!

Thats a no. This is a steel match up close. High velocity and high calibers will damage steel and can hurt people with back splatter.

Thank you Benny and China

Just a quick shout out to thank Benny and China for another year of hosting these steel shoots. Today was a great way to end the year.

The small square targets on the MVM was a great addition, I would love to see those again.

Being this my first time to one of your matches I have to say it was a good time. Though the 2 stages shooting one handed really pointed out a weak spot in my abilities.......yikes!!

Loved the man V. man competition. I think I'll be incorporating that into our matches here in Morris.

Benny and China, thanks for hosting.
