Event page on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/761978457165415/ RSVP is not required to attend, but would be appreciated so we can give Culver's a heads up about attendance a day or two in advance. If you're not on FB, please RSVP in the comments or email
info@Minnesota2A.com.
PLEASE "INVITE FRIENDS," all are welcomed.
Our meet ups are strictly social and are not "demonstrations" or "protests." However, we always make a point to be mindful of why we must continue to strengthen our community of law abiding gun owners and why we must continue to take action to preserve our natural human rights of personal safety and self defense protected by the 2nd Amendment.
Please show appreciation to businesses that allow lawful carry by tipping generously and include a business card or note in the tip jar that states: Lawful carry allowed = $$, or send a follow up email or note.
Why: A great chance to meet other like-minded people in a casual setting once per month.
GENERAL INFO:
--Open carry is welcomed, but not required**. Carry as you normally feel comfortable carrying.
--This is NOT a "rally," "demonstration" or "protest." It's simply friends and new friends meeting for social activity. Period. Bring your business cards if you'd like to network.
--We meet up on the second Saturday of each month at a Twin Cities metro area coffee shop, eatery or gathering spot, and we’ll try to hold them on all sides of the metro to give everyone a chance to participate at least once in a while. If you'd like to participate in this meet up or be notified of future meet ups, email
info@Minnesota2A.com for more information.
**Note: You must have a valid permit to carry a firearm which is recognized by the state of Minnesota in order to carry a firearm on your person. Minnesota has no requirement to conceal if you have a permit-to-carry; open carry is legal in MN. Know the law:

ICYMI, our January meet up made national gun website headlines after we posted about it on a local blog:
http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2014/01/robert-farago/new-pro-2a-tactic-revealed-lawful-carry-cash-bomb/http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2014/01/robert-farago/new-pro-2a-tactic-revealed-lawful-carry-cash-bomb/
Although the TTAG headline says "
New pro-2A tactic...." we've actually always been very purposeful in planning our meet ups, and in general, about supporting only businesses that allow lawful carry (whether they are "neutral" or outright "pro-2A, as a handful have been). We intend to more closely track and share the financial impact that our meet ups have on local businesses.
