I'll be there, as usual. Unfortunately, it will fit in between a full weekend of other things.

I think it's a great excuse to get out of the house. The commercials and pie in the cafeteria are worth it, too.

For all concerned, next year the Wells Gun Show WILL BE HELD inside the new school buildings.
Rumors were flying at the show, but the Club confirmed the show will go on in the new school buildings.

Thank you - I may need to join this club just to help support their cause. I will contact "wasfuzz".

That would be very cool. I think they need an iPhone app that helps you keep track of which hallway you've walked down and highlights potential vendors you may have missed.

Overall, a decent show again this year. I noticed that "retired" FFL Milan Hart is running for state representative, and that would be a good thing for gun owners. I'm seeing lower ammo prices at every gun show lately, and that was reinforced at Wells. A few good deals on knives and guns to be had, but nothing that called my name (and were within the budget).

A new venue may breathe some fresh energy into the show, and I'm looking forward to that.

I was looking for a new hunting rifle, saw A Lot of 270's, was looking for something in 06 or .308 though. I saw a couple of "gents" (term used very loosely) at the door who were told to unload their handguns before going in. (must have been OC?) Cop was right there, was nice to see them asking to do that then charging them with something. Was a little sad thinking about how my dad use to bring me to that show, and that I wouldn't have the opportunity to bring my son in the future, good to here that it will continue at the new school in the future!

I came in the north door, had walked 4 blocks from where I parked my dually truck without a coat, walked thru door stood directly behind the officer, when he turned around and looked up I explained I was warming up. He seemed a little upset about it, but with all the peoplethat was the only place to stand and close to heater.

I enjoyed meeting new people and old friends like subwofer2 (old???). Lots of questions about 50BMG sport shooting.
