I am really looking forward to this first event of the year. My daughter is due with her first baby Sunday, she didn't see the humor when I asked her to ensure she doesn't deliver early

Looking forward to my first time at this, fully expecting to take over the coveted record for bang, bang, bang...bang, bang...bang, bang, ping!

You will have competition for the most misses, I will be at IDPA, getting more shots for my entry fee than most :)

I'm afraid I have to back out. I need the day to finish packing up for my move to Lubbock. Thanks Benny and China for the introduction to steel and competitive shooting.

Will we be able to pick up our spent brass at this event? That little fact alone will dictate which weapon I choose to use.

I can't guarantee you'll get yours, but we typically pick it all up together then sort and share it!

Still going to do this with a fresh 10" snowfall?

Anyone looking for a ride? I'll be leaving Lakeville at roughly 0700, and will have room for 1-2 additional shooters.

Mapquest shows the quickest route as 35W to 494 to MN-5, and jumping up to MN-7 in Victoria.
Taking that route, I can meet you in Burnsville, Bloomington/Edina, or Eden Prairie.

I WILL NOT pick you up at your door - you will have to meet me at a location near the freeway.

PM me if you're interested.

Wear snow boots. It's still deep out here.

And the forecast is for rain.

Did The range have the pop-up rain / sun shades / shelters or did someone else bring them?

I have one of my own I brought when I came. I haven't decided how long I'm staying though. It was a long week since Apr 1 for me and this need is seriously checking for pinholes in my eyelids.
