Gopher Breakfast on Feb 21st!! Third EFFEN Saturday!!

I have talked to Cheri and the 3rd EFFEN Saturday in is open February for one of the notorious EFFEN Gopher Bar EFFEN Blatant Open Carry breakfasts!!! Hoo-rah!! Due to a pretty substantial increase in the price of bacon, the buffet will be $15 instead of $10. If you know how much EFFEN bacon and other artery clogging yummies Cheri cooks up, you will understand. Besides which, gas is $2 a gallon, so you can save that 5 bucks just driving to the Gopher bar!!!

Starting time is 9:00 AM or a wee bit after, and if you don't have the buffet but do have coneys then you are on your own and just buy the coneys. MINIMUM ATTENDANCE is 40 people for them to show a profit for this obscenely high amount of chloresterol, so answer the poll below and be there or B SQUARE.

It's an amazing breakfast buffet at the Gopher Bar in St. Paul. There will be eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon, toast of the french, coffee, eggs with some miracle spice stuff in them, and - best of all - good people to share a meal with. If you ask nice, you might even get somebody to regale you with a tale of some gun-related adventure (ipsc victory, hunting excursion, or I could make some excuse about why China kicked my ass in the man-v-man when she wasn't even entered).

Best of all, the owner is one of the most polite, soft-spoken, well-mannered gentlemen I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I think that whole "Miss Manners" column is actually written by him.

Oh, you're not limited to one EFFEN gun either, so conspicuous carry is pretty common. If you got two 357 revolvers and the gun belt to hold both, there's no reason to leave one at home...
