MNGunTalk Potluck dinner

Postby westberg on Mon Dec 15, 2008 10:33 am

I want to thank Strad for getting the dinner started and keeping it on track and David for his generosity in the use of Area 52. The pot luck food was great and way more then the group could eat. We even had door prizes, Dawn and I had a great time.

Door prizes?!? Oh man, we took off too soon!

We had a great time as well. The girls loved playing, and oohing over the "cutie wootie little baby". Great food and I need to build a bar like that in my family room!

Thanks, guys, for setting it up!

I totally agree! It was nice to put some new faces and names together. Area 52 was wonderful, the people were engaging and the food was outstanding. Huge Thanks to David, Dan and Ron. You guys are truly the best in the business!

I really wanted to make it. But I was up to my elbows in fiberglass insulation trying to get my remodeled bedrooms ready for this fricken deep freeze!

:freezin:

Oh well, maybe next time.

It was great meeting some of you whom I hadn't met yet!

Oh, and I'm still full from all the amazing food. Everything was great, but I had dreams about that barbecued pulled pork last night, Ron!

Good times. Thank you to all who put time, effort, etc. into making this happen. Did anyone think the potato salad had to much OC Spray seasoning?

I normally find potato salad to be pretty bland, so perhaps my opinion isn't reflective of the community at large, but I thought it was awesome!
