You should have at least 4 magazines.

Yep, but if you don't, and want to try this out anyway, folks will refill your mags (or speedloaders) for you while you shoot.

I'll sell you some, if I have extra reloading time*, and you sign my comprehensive liability waiver.

*which never happens

His ammo smokes a lot, and hides the targets.

My Berettas have bee sold, at least one 92 has been sold, the 96 has been spoken for but not paid yet.
(If I can't hit the side of a barn with the Berettas, why keep them.)

The GP100 is getting a good cleaning today.
Speed loaders and carriers ordered, should be here Monday. Went with twist release type as that is what I'm use to. Will need to try Pat's.
Xtreme 125 plated bullets will be here next Thursday, Friday will be busy loading. 4.5 grains of WIN231 sounds about right. Taper crimp for easy feed into cylinder. Tumble live with NuFinish to minimize corrosion and provide a real slippery surface - just kidding, but they will be live tumbled. Need an excuse for slow shooting. Will be loading in 38Special new brass, just happen to have over 2 50cal cans full of new brass. Been awhile since shooting the GP but 12 shots of practice yesterday resulted in 10 hits on waving steel plate.

Who needs practice? I do. And I need a better holster that rides lower. The one I'm using is a thumb strap type. I removed the back piece that is held in with velcro, the front strap I bent over and secured with a zip-ty to keep it out of way. Trigger and cylinder still is completely covered, but pulling revolver results in hand near armpit. 6" Heavy GP100.

Sounds like you're prepared. Now you just need shorter arms to ease drawing problems. That, or put holster down by your knee

I can always loan you my Glock

Welcome to the dark side. Get use to having a gun that actually runs.
