Be careful with Government auctions. They are notorious for mis labeling items. It is up to the buyer to verify the description is accurate. Example: You bid on a pallet of cans with lids without looking at them in person. They show up, no lids!! They will not refund you. They will simply state it is up the the buyer to verify descriptions. I looked into brass and ammo cans for a while. It's just too much risk for my taste. I have heard too many horror stories about these auctions, including one specific to ammo cans(no lids).

Gov't liquidation has a nasty habit of taking pics and then holding auctions months later. Most of their machinery has been sitting outside in the elements for 6 months before the lot is released for sale. If you're lucky, the pics are only 3 months old.
