Red Bull Crashed Ice Feb 4th

Just an FYI to anyone wanting to see a fellow MGTer biff-it in front of 80-100k people, I will be doing a special "goalie" race in full gear at the Crashed Ice thing this year.

So you know who to cheer for (or laugh at), I will be dressed like this:

I did three practice runs today between 1130 and 1230. It is a lot harder than it looks. I don't think doing it in goalie gear helps at all, other than with the crashing.

And there was a lot of crashing.

Overall pretty awesome, I can't wait to race Saturday night.

So, are you saying the gear helps you to crash or it helps protect you when you do crash? Or, maybe both?

We were wearing our own cameras for the training runs. I doubt if I'll wear one dieing the race, as is all recorded and we get a DVD of the race from red bull
