Upcoming rallies

Postby INOR on Mon Jan 28, 2019 2:08 pm

You all planning to attend the MNGOC rally on 2/23? I’m going to that one.

What about the MGR one this weekend? I don’t think I can stomach that one. There’s part of me that wants to just go and be a visible body but haven’t seen them do anything but holler and scream online like Alex Jones.

Skip the one this weekend unless you’re a fan of useless frothing, fraud, and backstabbing.
Nothing to see here. Continue swimming.

Upcoming rallies

Yeah thanks. I know. I’ve seen all the videos. They’re just blowhard snake-oil salesmen. But even so, I hope they have a decent turnout. Think it actually hurts the cause if there is a rally and there is poor attendance. Gives people the impression that the general cause is unorganized. Hoping the MNGOC rally is huge. I’m sharing it and inviting people.

I'm planning on 2/23. I hate losing a day's pay but this is important enough to be worth it.

What day is the rally? I'm getting different dates depending on where I check. 2-23, 2-24, 2-27?

Ah, got it. Gun Owner's Lobby Day was January 24. Only why did I originally think something was scheduled for Wed. the 27th? Now I don't remember.

Upcoming rallies

Looked at MGR’s Facebook page today. They are claiming over a thousand showed up Saturday to their rally. Have seen zero coverage of their rally.

I did see it mentioned on one of the local news channels (5?) that day. Didn't get to listen to it.

I thought the rally today was successful. Seemed like a good crowd. Wonder if they got an estimate on the headcount.

I saw the MGR guy (Ben Dorr) hanging around by the entrance talking to some people.

I was on the elevation above the main floor. I did head counts on the lower quadrants, and sections of the upper tiers, and did some math. At it's peak, I calculated around 700-800.
