It's being discussed in this thread. As of my post, no final decision has been made, but it appears that the consensus is to reschedule for Jan 8th.

I too, believe the 8th would be more appropriate, as most will want to celebrate Jan 1, 2020 with their families.

Since the lunch get together is for ALL of us, I posted a Poll to help us decide. If anyone has other suggestions, Please Post them.
