Hi all, I just confirmed that the 98 Pounds Buffet is now open for Dine-In. So, if ya'll want to, we can get our guys back together and enjoy our 1st Wed Lunches.

East side of 35W at 98th Street

When: Wednesday Feb 3, 2021
11:30 AM until you're stuffed and all talked out


Note: If I'm physically able, I'll get there a few minutes early, and try to get our usual table. If you could post that you're coming, it would help me tell them how many we expect.

I hope to see our group back together again.

Well, today my Doctor (and my wife) put a Nix on my attending any get togethers until I have had my Covid Vaccine. Due to my two types of cancer, as well as radiation therapy (only 4 more treatments to go ) he said my immune system is Highly Compromised, and I have to avoid group gatherings.

Although I have the compromises, as well as other mitigating issues, due to the fact I'm only 62, I don't qualify for the vaccine yet.

So, I hope you all have a Great Lunch, and know, that I wish I could be there....

I find out in 3 weeks, whether I'll also need Chemotherapy or not. As of right now NOT, and I hope it stays that way.

I also will not be attending as I am recovering from a mini-stroke. I feel fine but did go to E.R. at insistence of The Good Doctor, and had both C.T. and M.R.I. scans of my head & neck areas with just minor concerns as a result.

I will be seeing a neuro - surgeon about correction of two areas on arteries in my neck.

I want to thank all who assisted me during the attack while attending the GRRC meeting in the Red Shed. After a few motor skills tests, The Good Doctor allowed me to drive to hospital in Osceola Wisconsin, after stopping at home to get my wife. The Good Doctor followed closely and was very helpful at hospital to explain what he had observed.

Have FUN, be SAFE, don't over eat !!!
