South Metro(Bloomington) Lunch?

Postby princewally on Fri Feb 13, 2009 4:33 pm

I guess I shouldn't have opened my mouth if I wasn't planning on starting something.

Is anybody interested in a Bloomington area lunch?

Suggestions for time and place are welcome.

I'm up for it although I don't know any places in Bloomington so I can't make any suggestions.

Andy's Tap is history.

On the West Side there is a Perkins at 98th & Normandale, Famous Dave's same location and Zeke's at Old Shakopee and Bloomington Ferry Road. There's a few places along the 494 Strip west of Penn and Timberlodge in Southtown (oh yeah, Applebee's as well).

The only area east of 35W and south of 494 I'm familiar with is Lyndale. There's Perkins and Sawatde on 86th. A DiVanni's on 88th (?), Kimson, Mandarin Kitchen (yum) between 88th & 90th. Then there's Fong's at 94th (?) and Applebee's.

Can't forget about White Castle.

I miss any?

Brings back memory's. I haven't been there since I played softball. That was 15 years ago. :o

I haven't been to the Davanis in Bloomington. Do they have a separate meeting room? The one at the top of the hill in Prior lake off 13 and 42 does.

There's an Olive Garden, Oak City and Major's between France and 100. Fuddrucker's at France & 494. There's a decent Indian buffet just east of 35W, I think...I'll check the name, but if you like goat curry.....

OH YEAH!! Kahn' Mongolian! I forgot about that place. Awsome chow. It's all-you-can-eat. Do this on a weekend and I'll be there for sure (well, almost. The wife has veto power, and the kids are my judiciary).
I got nothin'
