I would like to clarify that for the first half I was shooting a New Vaquero. (i.e. reeeeeeeeally frick'n slow to reload.)

Shooting a revolver for this event is incredibly humbling. Well, for me anyways. I know now that I need to work on it, (need to buy a revolver first.... :? ) and a bigThanks to Benny and China for setting up an event for me to realize this.

Very humbling.

Very, very humbling.

Man, I thought I shot fairly well until the scores were posted.

Oh, so humbling.

I want to do it again. :D

An example in our midst of the phrase "beware of the man who shoots one gun" (or something like that). Pat's been working with that gun for years and it shows. Good job!

Me? I was born to be in last place.

Another great event put on by Benny and China.

Thanks to both of them.

Ahhhh yes, my moment of glory which I will be savoring for some time.

Would've been more glorious if Benny hadn't broken his super duper race gun, but on the other hand I might not have beat him in that case, so, never mind, forget that. I rock. Woohoo!

Thanks to Benny and China for a great event. I look forward to another once my meds are straightened out. Being a diabetic can be a pain. And a malfunctiong gun didn't help... Maybe I need a revolver too

I also had a great time today. Thanks to all and to China and Benny for running this event. As a fairly noobie (I guess I can't claim that too much longer) I'm having a great time meeting new people all with one common goal; to shoot the $h!t out of steel and blow off some ammo.

I'm not sure if I can accept Pat's 60 second revolver handicap any longer when he shoots a gun like this:
