I think that it is because, to have a conversation, you have to talk about something. You really can't have a conversation about not something since in order to discuss the not something you end up discussing the something. If you start an anti-gun forum, it is necessary to talk about guns, which people in an anti-gun forum are not interested in discussing. It seems to be a conversational dichotomy.

I've probably seen, time-wise, a cumulative sum total of 2.5 episodes of Seinfeld, in my entire life... so... uhmm. No!

The reality is much more banal. I am in the middle of a textbook chapter that opened with a discussion on Set Theory. You know, unions, intersections, exclusions, etc.; and I made the mental leap that in order to have a true anti-gun (exclusionary) discussion would require talking about anything but guns. To have a negative conversation about guns, requires talking about guns (intersection or subset), which the "anti-gun" people likely don't enjoy or have no interest in. If they don't know the subject or are not interested in the subject of "guns" what is there for them to talk about after stating that "I don't like guns"?

I just checked out "Sane Guns" and the web site is DEAD!!! Just like liberal gun control regulations should be. I guess that if you can't through urine bombs or get arrested, then it isn't worth carrying on about.
