Support James Stuart for Sheriff of Anoka County.....

Recently had the opportunity to listen as James Stuart, candidate for Sheriff of Anoka County, spoke at a Meet-n-Greet event, also heard him visit with voters in a followup face-to-face and had opportunity for a later personal phone discussion.

James Stuart was well spoken, well informed and responded with direct answers. Of particular interest was his comment, "you might not always agree with what I say, but you will always know where I stand."

James Stuart expressed his "pro" attitude toward citizen firearm possession/carry and supported his position with personal experiences. James Stuart's position in support of the Second Amendment was noted. He additionally stated that he would review fees and policy regarding issuance of carry permits, following his election as Sheriff of Anoka County.

It has been my experience that leaders, when given equal opportunity with others, will always rise to a position of leadership within any group.
