Sounds like Budget and Vikings stadium are almost definitely "In" for the special session, which probably won't be called until an agreement is reached on the budget.

Persons who feel strongly about this bill should dog pile on the senate leadership to get this bill voted on BEFORE the vikings stadium.

If they pass a stadium bill in the special session, 2012 will see Democrats in the House, Senate and governor's mansion. :angryvillagers:

On the other hand, maybe this will calm the angry villagers. Surlys for everybody!

There is a Democrat in the Governor's mansion now, and he is the champion leading the charge from the state level.

What is your point?

The point is that we elected a large number of republicans on promises that they would quit wasting our **** money. And a tax payer funded stadium is a waste of our **** money.

You obviously didn't get the memo - every $1 of taxpayer money spent on things like stadiums generates $5-6 of "residual" spending. John Maynard Keynes said so, so it must be true...

Say what you will, this made me happy, too. I was just at the one of the tours this Saturday. I'm excited for them to grow.

I follow this stuff pretty close and I missed the bill that stopped the homosexuals from getting married. Do you have a bill number or some other reference on that? They passed budget bills, though. It's not their fault that Dayton didn't crawl out from under his desk till it was too late to actually do anything.

I was there that day. It was actually funny that they mentioned Surley came and "catered" the conference committee meetings.

Did you get some Shadenfruede? Bitter? mmmmmm I was at the early one, they had Moe's Bender on when I came in the door but by the time I got up to the bar it was gone. :(

It'll be a different Democrat.
