But I did mean Constitutionalist and as defined in the Webster dictionary.

As referring to the US constitution.

And no I do not believe that McCain is, but maybe he would appoint such judges.

For me it boils down to having possibly up to four justices named by McCain or Hilary/Obama. That's really all I'm considering right now, and although I'm not a single-issue sort of guy, anyone who cares about gun rights ought to think hard about this.

That is definitely a very important consideration.

Having good judges is important in the long run but how do we stem the loss of rights in the short term? It seems to me that the never ending war with Eastasia, oops I meant "terror", is the justification for most current constitutional abuses. McCain is certainly not going to do anything to help in that regard. He just voted today to grant telecom companies immunity for their role in warrantless wiretapping.
