Good thing I lost all my firearms in a tragic jet ski accident. I still have a stockpile of ammo though for when the stores run out. ;)

Can you wait until AFTER I make all my pre-election investment purchases before starting the fear mongering? It's going to be difficult to buy low if you start the panic early. I have money to make!

Fear mongering? Do you think that Obama will nominate pro second amendment justices? Is it impossible that just ONE of the five justices that voted for Heller will have to be replaced in the next presidential term?

Along with buying ammo lets put just as much effort into making sure Obama doesn't get re-elected.

It sounds like you are all about the money. Do you have any kids? Do you care if they enjoy the same freedoms you do?

I'm just an amature observer, but watching the reality show called Republican debate last night, I think Obama is a shoe in. It could be a democratic blowout. And yeah, if that happens, it'll be a bad time for 2A, I think.

The real Republicans have to take over. These clowns are just putting on a show for some rich suckers who are paying them millions of dollars to argue about a never nver solial agenda. They don't need to be elected, they can just do the shows. It's sad.

The ammo hoarding just started.......I can hear the glass doors at Walmart opening and closing from my living room.... :D

It's easy to get people wound up about a possible future they're afraid of. I'm sorry, but I think that's what Mr. LaPierre's comments were intended to do. It's much easier to drive a stampede that to lead change.

Again, I apologize for stepping into this, but all I see is political propoganda in anything any of these guys say - on both sides. And, if I end up paying more for ammo or guns because of this, the NRA didn't do me any favors.

While I agree, it's not enough of them, or this politicking crap would stop.

I think there's enough of them. Libs are a minority. Most Dems are not the left wingers that their leaders are.

Ummm.... Not sure that dog hunts. If the majority of Dems that were pro 2A spoke up, or voted their conscience, we would see a diminishing population of "leaders" that try to eliminate guns. While I appreciate your sentiment & logic, the math doesn't add up. Just sayin"....

Not the tea baggers, who seem to control Republic discourse. And it's true, the Dems have the same situations. Most Dem voters are not the loons that seem to make the headlines. But I do see the current situation as improving the lot of the Dems that are our 2A foes, and we should be ready for it. FOX of course is paid to tell you that the current "candidates" who are being paid millions of dollars to "debate" are our future leaders, no matter how ridiculous they appear during the debates. Just sayin' it won't work out that way, be ready.

Already got an email from Budsguns yesterday entitled "here we go again," claiming what a great time it is to "invest" in firearms and foreshadowing the rise in prices and limits in supply the next nine months will bring. Just like before the last election, the retailers, manufacturers, and NRA thought about no one but themselves, lining their pockets with the money of the folks for whom they all claim to be looking out. I know I've said it before, but it's a disgrace how quickly our 2A purported leaders will turn around and feed on us while continuing to tell us they really have no choice and are simply being forced by their counterparts across the isle to do so. Bigger disgrace is probably the panic buying we choose to do at their prodding -- we apparently get the leadership we deserve by being so gullible.

Just bought another bunch of ammo today cheap. Will be selling it to the Republicans come fall. Maybe I should pick up another AR, too. Worked out well for me last time around...

How can you say that things are improving for our divider in chief? He is simply picking up where he left off last election. In 2008, race was a big issue. I wouldn't call his claim that our real first black President, Bill Clinton, was a racist, a great step forward. Neither would I claim that his current class warfare, class envy rhetoric to be helpful in solving the economic and budget problems. Remember, he responded to a question by a news anchor regarding the actual economic benefit, or lack thereof, in a particular feature of one of his tax proposals by his admission that it would probably not have the stated effect but would make things more "fair". And, in case anyone forgot, the 2008 slugfest between Obama and Clinton went on thru June. So,parroting the state controlled media on the supposed hilarity in this years Republican primary is really little more than propaganda.
