so, Dayton, a gun owning liberal is now a 'gun grabbing liberal'? that makes absolutely no sense at all. he chose to vetoe this bill because he favors sensible gun laws, not some BS Wild West law that that turns paranoid gun owners into the next vigilante. I don't buy this idea that the Stand Your Ground bill puts the honus on the criminal, because you're now assuming everyone is a criminal and guilty until proven innocent.

Why is this thread still at the top of the "Politics" section? I have received emails from senators and reps saying that this bill will not be revisited this session. Can we move on to other issues of politics?
