I was just reading the latest 1st freedom magazine. It would appear his assault weapon ban could include all semi auto rifes, pistols and even shotguns as well as all 12 gauge shotguns and all handguns that have a capacity of more than 5 rounds or detachable magazines.

obama wants assault weapon ban

For someone who supposedly is a constitutional scholar, he certainly doesn't seem to be able to grasp the simple concept of "shall not be infringed".

Well its basically a artical of what they think what will happen if Obama gets re-elected. 1St freedom is a magazine the NRA sends me. Key word in my previous post was "could".

So you actually believe he intends to ban 12 gauge shotguns?

Spinner

He sucks for mentioning the ban but as pointed out recently here that was his position prior to the last election and nothing happened. A member of congressional shot in the head and no new gun laws got enacted, if they didn't make any after that I don't see them making any now.

Without a re-election to worry about, he will push his agenda.

Who's he going to push it to? His party doesn't control Congress.

Well, we really don't have an acceptable gun candidate. Mitt will call an "assault weapons ban" something else when it comes up. Oh, and he wants people to be married to have a baby as part of the answer to his gun question. I guess our rights are going to be regulated by folks who think like these two guys.... Really sad. Neither one could pick out the "AK47" from a pile of guns. No wonder our wars go badly.

Well then, we better hope the GOP manage to somehow keep the House then.

The last 2 wars we got in were started by someone who served.

McCain should have won in 2000. :-(

Thank you, Mr. President. you just made ALL the down ticket races MUCH more important ;-)

btw, a tip:
Streichers.com has buy 9, get 1 free Pmags and a bunch currently in stock.
Their retail locations cannot match the online pricing.
30 round black pmags are $14.99 but on sale 10% off.
Buy 9, get one free as well.
So:
Promo Blue Line (discount on shipping and order)
Promo PMAG10 (for the free pmag)
Promo FREE4ME (for a free hat)
Oh, and buy something for $9 to make your total >= $129 so the shipping is free
$130 for 10 30 round pmags

Heck, I was going to buy them anyway eventually, and they work for my 300 BLK AND my .223 so ...
private or small grou permit classes available

Obama just became gun, and magazine salesman of the year AGAIN! I'm betting that today and this weekend will be banner sales days at gun stores nationwide. 1 million new gun owners by the election!
Nothing to see here. Continue swimming.
