American is headed for a cliff economically and if BHO gets his way, we will all have a lot fewer freedoms four years from now.

It's not just another four years of government spending and growth. Not just deeper debt to other nations including the Chinese whose military our debt funds. Not just the plurality of citizens exploiting a minority of US workers for its entitlements; it's the future of the Supreme Court. Obama will likely appoint two or more justices. That will create a progressive/liberal majority and that will change things permanently. The SC will support HHS mandate in Obamacare, same-sex marriage, government rights over private property, and on and on.

Supreme court justices worry me the most..hopefully no 2nd Amendment challenges get to the court again any time soon...
Thank God we still have congress...

look closer to home. House, Senate, and Executive in one party? a vindictive, spiteful, revenge seeking party ...

Look for higher spending, a huge business killing tax climate, and a radical expansion of social programs.

Nice work, republicans! Great planning there! Winning strategies all around!

I'll never understand why you guys threaten to move to Canada. It's socialist as hell up there (which is a good thing) and because there's no constitutional right to own guns the RCMP can at any point decide your guns are no longer okay and confiscate them without reimbursement. Seriously? Are you republicans sure you want to move there?

On another note, I don't much care for Obama, either. He's too conservative for me.

Don't forget gun control laws: High capacity magazine bans (like CA), closing the gun show "loophole", even gun registration and gun and ammo taxes. There's no one to stop them.

They tried to put 2 socially conservative, liberty restricting amendments on the ballot instead of focusing on jobs and budgets?

I see your point Heffay, and don't necessarily disagree, but apply the same logic to BHO. He's done nothing to help unemployment or balance the budget in 4 years and he is just as worshiped and re-elected as ever.

There is a lot of similarities between what Obama is going through and Clinton did back in the 90s. Started off with a recession and a hostile congress. By the end, the economy was booming, the budget was balanced, yadda yadda yadda. A lot of the arguments being used today mirror what was said in 96 when he was reelected. End of the world as we know it, socialism, people dependent on the government, etc.

Obviously there are differences, but what would you rather have? A booming economy, or everything in the tank to ensure whoever the republican candidate is will win the election in 2016? Not what you think will happen. What would you rather see?
