Hmm.. if only there were an option to support gun rights and purchase an AR without donating money to the NRA.

I'm going to donate $25 to the Brady Campaign just to spite you now. ;-)

I'm not sure why you keep going back to the failed "you're either with us or against us" policy. Glutton for punishment? Desire to become irrelevant?

I recently joined after a 20 year hiatus. Holy Crap they send out a ton of spam email and spam snail mail. They must have an inexhaustable supply of email addresses. The faster I ban them the faster they come up with a new one.

Ok, so here's the scoop... Want to become a NRA Life Member? $300. Down from $500 a few years ago and IIRC much higher before that. What you need to do is call the NRA at 1-877-672-2000. Option 1 is to purchase or upgrade a membership. Hope you have speakerphone or a headset, they're mighty busy today. I was on hold 14 minutes. Tell them you'd like to pay for your own "Gift" Life membership @ $300 and then provide them a NRA Life Member's name and NRA Number. Then pay the bill.

PM me for my info if you're interested!

Want to go with the Second Amendment Foundation instead?
http://www.saf.org/default.asp?p=safdonation
Available Membership Levels:
$15 Annual
$50 5-Year
$150 Life (Defenders Club)
$1000 Patron (Committee of One Thousand)
private or small grou permit classes available
