Yeah, the one on the 19th is gaining more steam than the one on the 8th.

Excellent, we will see you there.

Will your station have an official page for the event feb 8th?

Maybe it would be a good idea to create a new thread with the official announcement about the permit and the role your station will be playing. I don't want people to get confused on what date and time it actually is.

Again I want to thank you for your priceless contribution to our community.

How do we KNOW that am1280 isn't just someone who created an account and that they ACTUALLY represent AM1280 the Patriot?
private or small grou permit classes available

that occurred to me as well. If I was doing it, I'd look up the stations phone number and talk to whomever made the post.

In this day and age I understand the cynical view you have to take as many people aren't who they say they are. I have been with the station for over three years and my interest in getting this event up and running is sincere. You can call the station at 651-405-8800 and ask to speak with Kirsten to verify or if you want to become more involved in organizing the event or if you have a business you want to have tied into the event you can call me as well (although this isn't the goal of the event).

As for a landing page on our site, we will get that up promoting the event starting next week and I hope to have fliers available as well to put up in businesses and affiliates. I will start a new thread when the landing page on our website is created with all the information next week as well.

Feel free to check out the website as a whole at http://www.am1280thepatriot.com.

I didn't call but I did e-mail and received a response that makes me sure this is someone affiliated with the station.

I hate to say it but I think Feb 8th is going to be too late to stop any executive order or anti 2nd amendment debacle. They are about to be done vetting new appointees and after that is done I bet he just signs the paper. I'd say that by Feb 1st 2013 our constitution will not resemble anything that we recognize.

I'd be all game to go to both but I'll be making a point to make the 19th. God bless everyone. Texas is looking better every day.

Wherever you go, wear an empty holster visibly on the 19th to show what you'll have left if the anti-gunners have their way. Good conversation starter for sure!

Or a Nerf gun strapped to your chest perhaps?

If you choose to go, remember, the image you portray will be shown on the media as representative of all gun owners.
