Starting to see pics trickle onto FB. It sounds like around 1500 attended. No one has reported any anti presence.

Remember when we said "Don't be that guy"?

Must not have got the memo. ;)

While some might get into a tizzy about out of season colors, or lack of coordinated outfits, the politicians count heads, pure and simple. And if "that guy" doesn't exist, the media will invent him.

No need. "That guy" exists in large numbers in this community. ;-)

Typical comment from a liberal elitist. Do we really have to be told how to dress for an event? The guy was there and participating in peaceful demonstration which is more than I can say for the elitists on this site.

Tony Cornish said it best. Not an exact quote. "It felt great to stand on the State Capital's steps and recite The Pledge of Allegiance of the United States with .40 cal on my hip"

This was my first rally of any kind. I wasn't sure what to expect. All I can say is - wow. Very well organized and staffed. The speakers were all spot on, made their points and moved on. I was very pleased at the number of Representatives who attended and spoke. Thank you to all those who helped make this possible and also to those who attended.

People from all walks of life came to support something important to them. How someone dresses or looks shouldn't be important. Just like the fact you are not a resident yet still hang around isn't important.

Carry on.

Me and tacticalninja helped a guy with his upside down gasden flag. he was in a hurry and forgot to check his gear :D saw a couple occupy looking kids with badannas and a vendetta mask. they were asked if they stood with us, and if they were to take the masks down. they were quick to oblige. the best is when the color guard came in first time with anti-UN flags. you should have seen Rothmann spring into action. Glad they came back for some more drumming

here is the crowd below us, and it was way more congested above us
