They're throwing a ton of weight behind this in MN - we can tease and taunt, but we need the bodies to back up the wide support we actually have in MN.

We all need to stick together NOW. Its not a partisan issue, its a rights issue. We can bicker about blame later.

Agreed. Sorry about getting everybody all riled up. I've joined GOCRA and emailed my reps and will continue to do so.

All of the committee has been contacted by me. I've sent both my state rep and senator multiple emails. No responses from any of them as of yet. I guess I'll be doing everything I can to get my rep/senator thrown out of St Paul next time they're up for election.

Write your Feds here: http://www.congress.org/congressorg/mai ... 26&type=ML
Write your State pres here: http://www.congress.org/congressorg/iss ... 81&type=ML

Save these links and use them often, not just for this.....

Also call them too, don't just email.

I've done all the above, every week.

Call, I get "I'll take a message" or voicemail.

So far the email responses I have been receiving seems to lean towards the ban.

Given you're in Minneapolis, can't say I'm surprised.

But still, keep the pressure up. Get others to write and call as well. If nothing else, show them how many people are going to be working to vote them out next time.

Politicians, except for the most die hard ideologues, will change their tune in order to stay in power if they feel that they can't survive the election under their original stance.

Cuomo's approval rating dropped from 74% to 59%. Dayton's approval rating is hovering just above 50%. He is really going to have to think this one through.

Not sure if Dayton can think anything through which is our State's problem. You can't fix stupid.
