There's nothing coincidental about any of the timing of this... :x

I've had a ton of responses, I'm glad we can mobilize -- still looking for more people on the 5th...lets fill the room! PM me for details.

I took the entire day off on Friday the 8th so I'll be there.

How long are they in the office on the 5th, 6th and 7th? I work until 3 and could be there at 4 or so. Is there an organized plan or do we just come in and wander and watch?

Though having heard from JJ that the e-mail route didn't work AND having time before the 8th, I'd mail the letter ASAP then call in a couple days ...

Email for confirmation appears to work. Sent my notification in via snail mail on 1/14. Emailed Sgt. Parker on 1/28 to confirm that it had been received. Got his reply in the affirmative this morning.

According to the papers, hearings will be at 10 AM (the committee's regular meeting time), but may reconvene in the evenings to take additional testimony.

You are confusing notification, with confirmation. I attempted to email my notice instead of snail mailing the notification.

Can you shoot me Sgt. Parkers email, so i can try notification via email with him. Originally I sent it to the DPS Commissioner directly.

As the meeting this week are going to be in State Office Building Room 10, Is that a room that we can come in to while it is in session, without disturbing them?

If I can break away from work for a couple of hours, I might like to stop down at 1 or 2 PM.

Are any 'professional' signs being made?
a 'Sign Shop' http://www.fastsigns.com/196-minneapolis-mn
Or Kinkos could make a couple dozens of 'well-regulated' demonstration signs
cheaply.

A suggestion would be a 24" x 36" sign reading
NOV 4, 2014
WE WILL
REMEMBER

:) That would be aimed at out-state dems.

So, everyone jumping ship to attend the hearings? Or are a lot of us still planning on attending?

After a sleepless night, I am taking 3 vacation days to testify and to be at the Friday Rally.

I'll be there during the day Tuesday - and Wednesday, plus Friday to be at the Rally.

If our effort is not successful, I will need to take many days off to sell and/or transfer my firearms to keep out of jail.

I have not done anything wrong, but I feel like I am being looked at as being guilty person. This really stinks.

Is there something special I need to do if I would like to testify in these hearings?

People - THE FRIDAY RALLY IS VERY IMPORTANT - the president is flying in on monday to politic for gun control. WE NEED TO COUNTER THAT ON FRIDAY!
