Called & E-mailed my reps - TAG YOUR IT !!

Postby collateral on Sun Feb 03, 2013 6:13 pm

Hi

Last week I called and emailed my local and state representatives. Time to get off the couch and get active. Talking on the forums is fun, but this is real. Time to get in the game. Nobody is going to do it for you. Now it is your turn.

Reply when you have done the same.

TAG YOUR IT !

P.S. Not a bad idea to get your friends and family active too.

Been there done that ... 3 times already. Sent from three different email addresses with three different messages. And I will do what I can to make it to the capital.

Done... again.

The responses to me have been very personable and positive, only one negative so far with 5 that are very much against these bills. I guess it's the silent ones we need to worry about, or get on our side.

A lot of what I read in my emails makes me confident that we have a lot of representation that knows facts vs myths, and also well aware of the curtain the media puts over things.

I'm actually relieved by the responses I've gotten from all parties.

emailed both my MN House and Senate representation, Angry Al and Amy, and Michelle. No response from Al, Amy, or Michelle. Both Linda Runbeck and Roger Chamberlain personally emailed me back and backed my positions, and Linda invited me down to the capital for the next 3 days to let my voice be known.

I got an interesting reply...

"Thanks for sharing your opinion."

Guessing Jeanne Poppe doesn't share my thoughts. :?

I've emailed everyone on the committee once and each of my reps at state/federal levels twice. Tomorrow I start calling those who have not responded, then hanging out at their offices if need be. I expect my questions to be answered...
