Obama to Pitch Gun Proposals in Minneapolis Monday

Have any of the local pro-gun groups been invited to attend this closed meeting?

I would think a our government should want to hear from both sides before passing legislation.

If local pro-gun groups (GOCRA) have not been invited to this meeting to express their concerns about new gun laws, we should make the media aware they only want to hear from one side.

I don't think any of them were.

I know Protect Minnesota was invited -- they had all 4 members on the list!

Billy Hildebrand from fan Outdoors was invited because he supports a mag cap. He explained his views on the Dan Borrero show tonight saying he doesn't think any hunter needs one of those.

He did a great job defending modern sporting rifles though, saying all guns are made out of wood, plastic, and metal. They don't think and they don't act - they are objects. He went on to say that a shotgun at close range is much more deadly in a crowd with its multiple projectiles than a semi-auto rifle.

He will be on the show this weekend and I would love to hear a few well reasoned people defend the magazines on there. Maybe even get a GOCRA representative to go on and explain to the "sportsmen" why their guns are next.
