I'm sorry. I forgot, what was Obama's service, when he was in high school/college?

Are you saying that only those with military experience are qualified to be Commander in Chief. I think this is just another of his pandering, throw away lines. But what do I know?

No. He could have done Vista, Habitat for Humanity, Peace Corps, cleaned bedpans at a hospital, or picked up trash on the roadside. Did he? (Volunteering at Rev Wright's "church" doesn't count) If he didn't, why does he think he has the right to ask for the sacrifices of others?

I guess, as long as his government would supply those spiffy Chairman Mao uniforms it would be ok.

chunk, you're right, but isn't that similar to anyone, say GWB, asking for military volunteers to go fight wars for us? I still think this is barely a sideshow.
