I think this is a real opportunity here: "Thank you for arranging for arranging for these children to be taken from their unprotected school and brought to somewhere where law abiding citizens will be willing to protect them."

We need permits to own helmets. Only police officers and people facing real danger need them.

But these are children. They don't have to follow rules because they're cute.

The guy that's up right now is shaking like crazy. Just noticed it.

And now it's over. I could have sworn they had the building until noon.

They all had signs in hallway but I did not see any when shown on tv. I was in overfllow upstairs so I can't say if they brought them into the room. The kids left before body armor bill came up.

Looks like tonight is going to be:
HF307 (Simonson) Permit to carry application required to be made to a chief of police of a municipality, and if no chief of police, to a county sheriff.

HF242 (Hausman) Large-capacity magazine crime established for the manufacture, transfer, or possession of ammunition feeding devices with the capacity to accept more than ten rounds or any conversion kit, part, or combination of parts; terms defined; and criminal penalties provided.

I think we need all the support we can get for HF242. I find it a bit odd that my bolt action .22 rifle with a 15 round mag is a threat to public safety....

I've been laid up in bed sick over the last two days. Skimmed over both thread about the hearing on here...

I've sent e-mails, and wish I could make it down to voice my opinion in person. Also watched the video of DPMS president giving his stand on the issue. If this does become law I will happly help him move his company outta state... along with myself. Living in a Blue state sucks!
