Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton, who faces re-election next year, has said he won't sign any gun law package unless it's supported by the state's rural lawmakers.

..and it isn't.

I was there last week. The turnout against gun bills was impressive. several of the reps on committee walked out and never returned. My take is outstate and suburban senate keep it very watered down if they even pass one ...... house may have too may afraid pass anything also.
several out of state Sen and reps came up the lines ... ID'd as dems and pledged support against gun bills........all we need is 35 in senate and 65
or so in house.......

Anyone who supports these bills should expect to be kicked out of office in the next election.

For me the next few election cycles will be a single issue deal for me. Want my vote, support the 2A. Want me to vote against you and actively support your opponent, feel free to vote against the 2A and let the chips fall where they may.

I'm tired of these idiot politicians that are spending hard earned tax money and making policy for millions of citizens when they would be hard pressed to spell "responsibility" let alone understand what it means.

As a new voter, I second that!
Men may argue forever on what wins their wars, and welter in cons and pros, and seek for the answer at history's doors, but the man with the rifle knows.

I've always been a single issue voter for 2nd amendment rights with taxation coming a close second. Yes, I have opinions about everything else (gay rights, immigration, fiscal cliff, et.al.), but to me it's ALWAYS been "Does this guy/gal support the 2nd amendment" and everything else comes second as far as garnering my vote. Ok, flame away.

No flame from me. The 2nd Amendment has always been a litmus test for me. Any politician who doesn't support our our RKBA is a Statist and unfit to govern.
I will never apologize for being an American.
