We can protest all these things rationally and calmly--without threats, bluster or psycho talk.

And that's exactly what we must do.

In my experience, people who feel they have a weak argument are the ones who bluster and threaten--thus, if you do such things you not only look like a flake, you also reveal your own insecurity.

Just say no and work your anger out another way.

This, a thousand times this.

If you're going to act like a hot-headed twat, do it on your own time when you're not representing gun owners.

Well... Probably given the political climate, and the greater than average responsibility required in owning guns, you could be correct.

What's that?

First, there probably exist a class of gun owner and second amendment supporter who ARE radicals AND dangerous. I am not talking about them, but the majority gun owning population and 2A supporter. You do realize that the left is framing the NRA as "radicals"? Maybe you think they are too? I believe they just represent the consensus gun owners beliefs about gun ownership and 2A rights...

There is no ONE NRA.

The NRA has a diverse membership.

The reason the left can successfully marginalize and ridicule the NRA is that some NRA members shoot off their big mouths in an irresponsible manner--being governed by emotions instead of cool logic and reason......and the left uses that against all of us.

It's dumb not to bring up slavery:

Not self-evident? Care of use, storage, familiarity with laws and statutes, etc... I would say that it requires more than average responsibility to own a gun than not. Do you disagree?

Do I have to prove this to someone?
Pass some test to own a firearm?
Your last response is presented as an opinion, which you are certainly entitled to, whether or not I agree, your earlier post appears to state it as fact, which is false.

Watch what you post online?

Postby Spinner on Thu Feb 21, 2013 11:06 am

I'm not condoning "nutjobbiness". I'm advocating for repealing current laws that marginalize the Second Amendment and exposing the gun grabbers for their true agenda. They might see that as inflammatory, but the fact is this: let's legislate against violence, not objects.

BTW, the very moment a gun grabber can prove to me, with data, that they have all the bad guys' guns, that I will never be the victim of a gun crime, that governments, foreign and domestic, won't use guns to marginalize my God-given rights, I'll lay down my guns.

My guns will never defend Heffay, ammo is just too damn expensive. I might throw a rock or push a branch in your direction though.
