What was new was some 'revisionist' history about Nazi Germany and Gun Confiscation. One senator mentioned he had some Holocaust survivors in his district and guns wouldn't have helped in the Warsaw Ghetto uprising....he was minimizing the armed citizenry idea. And the pro 2A woman kept going back and forth with him.....the snappy line she could have had available was....'They would have died on their feet instead of their knees'
Plus many of the Jews killed in WW2 were rounded up and shot in their local areas (eastern Europe) and not shipped off to camps, making armed resistance realistic. That Senator needs to get a ruler across his knuckles

Also a new thought introduced in the Senate hearings was that we ALREADY HAVE HAD CONFISCATION in America during Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, when the police went door to door confiscating weapons.
I think there's a missed opportunity in not mentioning the Katrina / New Orleans confiscation....many in Law enforcement are very troubled by that event....it's an ir-refutable argument when debating background / checks & verification.....
We already have seen DOOR-TO-DOOR-CONFISCATION-OF-FIREARMS....just when they were needed the most....Explain that away Senator Fattass.
