Ellison if he is being interviewed by a fellow kool-aid drinker will and does do fine reciting talking points. When he is confronted with a substantive argument where he has to go off facts, he usually ends up looking like the idiot that he is. He did it on Hannity, though even a moderate debator could best him, and he did it in debates against his opponent last election. Ellison is a hot head. Evidence from his debate performances, and interviews, not all that intelligent either.
I can't remember who.. Someone went off on this republicans would ruin education, SS, Medicare Medicade.. blah rant. Sweet talking points. you put those together yourself? Based on that post alone, nothing you say or for that matter anyone that agrees with you says is worst anything.
As for gay marriage. For me, I will never agree with gay marriage. But, that doesn't mean that gay couples should not be afforded the same contractual "benefits" marriage provides to same sex couples. Someone posted earlier, and I agree.. Whether between straight or gay couples it should be a civil union. After that, call it what you like.. People can agree or disagree. We're not going to turn around thousands of years of social policy in a few election cycles. It wouldn't be prudent.
