No one argues that many impoverished communities aren't disadvantaged. The question is, what is the government's (taxpayers) responsibility.

The government responsibility is to provide equal education for all.
The book you got your signature line from also says you should love your neighbor as yourself, but some Christians pick and choose only the convenient lines from the book.
Furthermore, I would argue that money and education are not the whole picture. Others have pointed out the importance of family...

There is a world of difference between personal commands issued to individuals and instructions for governments.
