Came back this morning and find the Tea Party Jethros are not only still obsessing over me, but they've opened a fake account in my name (well, they used St Olaf without the period) and even used my SuperVel Avatar.

You can't make this stuff up.

I haven't laughed this hard since I went to the FundyGelical Christian forum.

I'm gonna take all the personal attacks as medals of honor--what it proves is that they've been so thoroughly trounced in debate and are so bereft of argument that personal attack is all they have left.

Well anyway... I don't think St. Olaf is a troll. He has his views, I have mine. To me (and it appears others as well), he is a frustrating and rather annoying debater. But who cares. This is an interweb forum after all. Put him on ignore if he really bothers you. A political debate would be boring as hell if everyone believed the same thing.

There's a reason I enjoy seeing the personal attacks directed at me.

The personal attacks are simply not effective because they reveal that the attacker has been beaten in debate and has effectively "given up" and reverted to junior high school tactics.

It's like saying, "You won and I'm having a meltdown about it."

This is why I attack only destructive groups like the Tea Party and don't specifically attack individuals here. Attacking you personally does not even interest me and if I let a snide remark slip at a specific person occasionally it's an oversight rather than by intent.

So, let the games continue......hopefully with a few people understanding themselves and their actions a little better.
