should we be worried

Postby Stylin750 on Tue Mar 05, 2013 4:39 pm

I was listening to the radio this morning..There was a news break...it was either cnn or nbc....They stated terrorist groups were up 800 percent, mainly in the south...they are calling these terrorist cells "patriot groups"..anybody else hearing bout this?...Are they just normal gun owners?...im not trying to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but does this have anything to do with the DHS buying spree?

800%, You sure it wasn't 784%?

Modern Survival Blog reported:

The Department of Homeland Security (through the U.S. Army Forces Command) recently retrofitted 2,717 of these ‘Mine Resistant Protected’ vehicles for service on the streets of the United States.

Although I’ve seen and read several online blurbs about this vehicle of late, I decided to dig slightly deeper and discover more about the vehicle itself.

The new DHS sanctioned ‘Street Sweeper’ (my own slang due to the gun ports) is built by Navistar Defense (NavistarDefense.com), a division within the Navistar organization. Under the Navistar umbrella are several other companies including International Trucks, IC Bus (they make school buses), Monaco RV (recreational vehicles), WorkHorse (they make chassis), MaxxForce (diesel engines), and Navistar Financial (the money arm of the company).

DHS even released a video on their newly purchased MRAPs.

The MRAP featured in this video is was in Albuquerque, New Mexico for Law Enforcement Day which was held at a local area Target Store. This MRAP is stationed in El Paso, Texas at The Homeland Security Investigations Office. MRAP is a Mine Resistant Armor Protected Vehicle.

Yes, the agenda to vilify "patriot" groups is prevalent. Patriot now = Terrorist/Extremist, believe it or not. No clue about any particular group/individual... Nothing new here and already well documented... Who knows about the DHS and bullets. I hope not.

If by normal gun owners, you mean a law-abiding and legal gun-owner that believes strongly in the Second Amendment, the answer is probably, yes. This is corporate media we are talking about, you know.

DHS considers "sovereign citizens" to currently be the greatest terrorist threat to the US, and have been focussing most of their resources on these groups for some time.

Yeah, the sovereign citizens basically make their own rules and dont pay taxes AFAIK. They are already criminals. Interesting that they get labeled "Patriots".

Besides being pro 2A, or a patriot, here are some other things you shouldn't do.

You're definitely on "the list". ;-)

well the radio definately said it went up 800 percent......didnt say 784 percent but it is liberal radio so you know, well the reporting anyway..

Yea and by normal gun owner, i did mean the legal law abiding citizen, not the criminal there not even allowed to own guns, so i wouldnt view them as normal gun owners.

The reason I brought up the DHS, is they are the DEPARTMENT of HOMELAND SECURITY, and their talking terrorists. The DHS is ment to deal with terrorists and prevent terrorism, so theyd be logically associated with this, and it doesnt take a rocket scientist to see their gearing up for something, armed vehicles, personal defense rifles, billions of bullets and using targets of normal people holding guns...and who knows wat their gunna buy next.

Me on the list? how? lol, Would someone who never voted for obama wouldnt be on a list? thats probably first strike....Would someone who votes prodominently 2A be on the the list? Strike 2 huh...Would a strong NRA member be on the list? Someone who likes their "personal defense rifles"? Someone who loves their constitution, bill of rights, freedoms, "probably everything they hate"?

People whose government fears it's people and their God given rights as well as their Constitutional Rights, have good reason to fear their government and that is the basis of our 2[i]nd[i] Amendment Rights.

Never in the history of the United States Of America has there been a president less open and transparent than the current resident of the Oval Office. Of course we must realize that he came from the ghettos of Chicago ( as far as I am concerned the entire city is just one big ghetto ).
