Making crime more illegal, and we're supposed to feel safer?

How about repealing tax laws that blatantly circumvent the constitution? That's a gun bill I want to see. This one is a bunch of crap.

I see this bill fixing a number of known issues - particularly with the NICS process.

I wrote my Senator to ask that he sign on to a companion of this bill. I also wrote to Representative Paymar (like it would do any good, but I did it anyway).

I'll keep up the pressure, and appreciate the efforts of Rep's Hilstrom and Cornish to try to turn this legislative session in our favor.

I love the reporters' reaction to the announcement. Their tone was basically "what do you MEAN no universal registration?!?!?!"

So much for objectively reporting what happens.

Agreed.
So...Will we have a Hearing?
Will we show up with signs?
and visit legislators?

Tony Cornish wants you to call your police chief's assistant and leave a message.

This bill is a big deal.....the Reps sponsoring it constitute THE MAJORITY in the House.

The Chairman Paymar DOESN'T WANT TO HAVE A HEARING......I want him to be

Agreed. All I see here is a bunch of arguing amongst ourselves. Let's put that energy into emails, calls and personal visits like last month. If Paymar gets his way the committee won't even hear the bill. We need to keep on top of this.

I sent my emails last night once GOCRA posted the info on the bills. Go to their site and get the contact information and insist that the bill be read. They are hoping we have tired of the fight. Lets show them otherwise. This is a good bill.
