It is indeed despair worthy -- but don't! Keep emailing, calling and attending hearings! The fights not over until its over!

I'm looking for a "Boomerang Effect" as in one of the basic laws of politics is 'Overplaying your hand' I think the left is using up Political capital and that BHO will wind up with a Democrat Senate and nothing to do but get on 'The Party Bus' for his last 2 years.

I'm wondering if someone has become emboldened by promises of financial support from DC and NYC. I mean, look at what has happened in NY and CO. Insanely high turn out of constituents all demanding these bills NOT go through, and the response was basically whatever.

Why is it continually allowed to use the phrase, "...... semiautomatic military-style assault weapon", when
1.) "semiautomatic" is NOT! "military style", and
2.) is NOT an assault weapon?

That leaves the guns in question so arbitrary?

This wordage should not be allowed to be used in any bill or law.
Or proposed bill or law.
