You know how the legislature works. Those who hold the majority get the best and most spacious offices. The minority Party gets second best.

The DFL (especially the leaders with the really plush digs) don't want the embarrassment of packing and moving to those little offices again after the next election.

They'll kill the bills.

Let's be there to be a part of it.

Just heard Cornish on the radio . Said the bill should die in committee . If everyone holds to their conviction's.
If You have not contacted the committee members , Please do.
Keep them informed of your opposition to the bad bill!

Delaying to arm twist and buy support ! In other words they have to cut deals to go against the will of the people !
Also Paymar is worried about our sides turnout! Hoping to round up some more bodies for his side.

The will of the people?

You haven't been looking at the poll numbers, have you. We *don't* want them to be representing the will of the people here.

Polls run by biased sources, asking vague questions and interpretting the reults
As they see fit. I am not saying that the will of the people is not for these measures, however i reject the premise that a strib poll represents the will of the people.

Polls run by compaines paid to get accurate information so that decision makers can analyze the results of their actions and policies.

I can see one poll being influenced by politics, but not every single one of them.

Any honest poll (with clear information about what universal background checks would actually do) would get a far different result than the recent polls that Paymar keeps quoting as if they are Gospel.

Paraphrasing, there's lies, damn lies and then there's poll lies.

Nope I have not. I do look at gun sales and the number of people I know who are first time gun buyers. Also every time your in a gun shop ,there are lots people
who are buying their first gun.
If the poll numbers are right. Why is the anti gun bills not breezing through?

"The Will of the People" means VOTES.

Politicians fear VOTES (against them) and also fear financial support for the candidates who will oppose them.

Clearly, the "Will of the People" (VOTES) is what stops the extreme gun control bills (like Paymar's) from passing.

Because poll numbers on universal registration don't match up with poll numbers for the 2014 election.

Or are you asking a rhetorical question that you know the answer to?
