For me, there are definitely circumstances I'd hand my stuff over... I'm not going to get shot to death in front of my family if I can avoid it.

How did they get a list of gun owners? How would they know they were talking to a gun owner when taking this poll? How was the poll worded? Any members of this forum called on this poll?

Yeah, it's amazing how they can do that isn't it?

Same for 'sheriff supported anti gun legislation', I have 2 friends who are sheriff's who have never been asked their opinion either.

Polls are representative, and can give good indication of public opinion if well conducted. Likewise they can be manipulated and constructed to give whatever results one wants depending on the same.

So in other words, made up people were asked made up questions which resulted in made up numbers and totals which created made up results for a made up poll with made up statistics. Well, heck I trust THAT!! Don't you? ;)
