Thanks, I learned that there are apparently people who think guns help protect you from bombs.

Ignorance can be cured with education. Stupid, however, is forever.

Well, I'm not so brave. I would have stayed in my house too. There were way too many cops running around with "assault rifles" for things to be considered safe.

I want this writer to cite one credible source that guns were confiscated from law abiding Boston citizens. If they had a gun confiscated because they were a felon in possession, well good. I also want a citation on police entering households without permission, in direct violation of the 4th amendment. Not saying it didn't happen, just want a little more proof than this guy's blog rant. CNN reported law enforcement was asking to search, not breaking down doors.

If you, and the rest of your team, are pointing a loaded rifle at me while "asking" I am guessing you're gonna be pretty persuasive. There's asking, then there's ASKING......

(I am not saying that happened, just making an observation)

I recently had a small discussion on this very topic with a highly trained law enforcement individual.
I wanted to know if I could deny police entry into my home if such an event such as this were happening where I live.
I know my property, where to hide, where not to look, how to stay safe if required over and above normal situations.

He brought up several very good arguments on why they would still want to search your home and facility.
Some I agree with, Some I am still thinking about, some were flat out no.
Still a very good discussion.

Under the circumstances, with proper police verbal response, I would agree to a search of the premises for a fugitive.

We also discussed being armed while protecting your family and property, and that status upon police entry.

I sincerely Thank this individual for his insight, and for being a member of this Forum.

Can you elaborate on the situations or circumstances?

Wow...just wow.

This is an amazing photo. I have never seen that before. The LEO or Fed shoulders his rifle and takes aim at the guy in the window because you are taking a picture of the scene below on the street? Do my eyes betray me?

What country is this again?

Sorry, no further discussion of circumstances from me. You will need to wait to see if he responds.
