Kare 11 had a scroll title on their live morning segment yesterday which indicated "Thousands to Rally Against Gun Violence in Minneapolis"...it was edited in the post-production to today's "Rally to Call for Tighter Gun Background Checks".

There was no mention of anything "gun-control" related other than background checks...seems they've decided to stop throwing everything against the wall to see what sticks.

I bet in the minds of the organizers, thousands *were* to rally. But for some reason they weren't there. Or they were there in spirit or something like that.

Pretty sure no one cares about gun control. It's going to be one of those issues that will slowly fade away as politicians realize the money and votes just aren't there for them to support.

Was watching channel 5 and they did a panning shot of the croud. If you take into account that 1 to 2 people were from each news outfit, local/ national, 3 if they were a TV outfit ,they would have been a large part of the croud.

By overhead count - 137 people...figure 1/4 of that for media/passers-by, probably another 23-24 are paid staffers...
