Why Magazine Restrictions are bad

Postby rthib on Tue Jul 02, 2013 9:05 am

During a discussion about the different size magazine available for the Walther P99, some one posted some info about testing done on glocks and 10 round magazines.
Maybe others have seen it, but it was new to me.

The next time someone talks about that no one needs a bigger magazine in a handgun, you might tell them about this:

The pull quote:
"everyone’s 10rd magazines tend to be less reliable than their standard capacity version"

So one of the reason that I need more than 10 rounds is that a 10rd magazine is not as safe.

You poor, poor fool. Don't you understand that, to the anti-gun crowd, that's a feature, not a bug... ;)

Yeah, they pretty much don't care that smaller magazines are less reliable. That's not going to change anyone's mind.
To the two forum members who have used lines from my posts as their signatures, can't you quote Jesse Ventura or some other great Minnesotan instead of stealing mine? - LePetomane

You simply cannot educate the uneducable members of society!
