MN Gun Owners PAC: Don't tell me to vote for a Dem Please :)

I had a small moment of panic for a second...I was remembering the MN Gun Owners PAC had endorsed Julianne Ortman for Senate and I mistakenly thought...

"Wait a minute...isn't she a Democrat?"

No she's a republican. Please don't suggest that I vote for ANY DEMOCRAT especially for US Senate....not going to happen. Thanks.

I have no stake in the PAC at all, but the PAC is single issue.

If there is a Gun-Apathetic RINO going up against a Pro-Gun DEM, I would expect them to endorse the Dem.

I also don't think Mark or Bryan would tell you who to vote for, only give you the information on the strongest candidate for your gun rights.

There are many issues to consider when you pick your candidate, you need to pick the one that closest aligns with your values. There has never been an org that I have ever followed their "Voting card" lock and step.

Bingo,

I was just worried for a moment that Julianne (who should be much better known...she's a smart principled articulate woman) was a 'conservative democrat' and If we don't turn the US Senate in Nov....we've got some big problems...the winds of Impeachment are blowing...

We wouldn't have the MN Citizens Personal Protection Act (aka our "carry" law) without the support of Pro-2A DFL lawmakers.
Gun control wouldn't have died in the session this year without the support of Pro-2A DFL lawmakers.
There are many MANY pro-gun DFL'ers in this state.

I have no doubt we'll endorse and support some Pro-2A DFL candidates this year.

But we won't tell you who to vote for - that's up to you :)

I sat at a table with her at the Reagan day in Chisago county in Wyoming. I liked what she was saying then and pretty much lock my vote up for her.

Watched her during the gun hearings in march of '13

The current Mayor of Minneapolis Betsy Hodges would be barely qualified to be her Cleaning Lady.

Probably, especially if the Republican candidates spend the primary season tripping over their own dicks trying to outdo each other on stupid crap like repealing gay marriage.
