Write your Minneapolis ciy councilman

It pisses me off when the absolute and complete failure of those "in charge" to do their principal job and remove criminals from the streets, in fact use their own incompetence as an excuse to restrict the rights of the population.

They expect us to pay the price for their failed social experiments with our rights. I think it's time to move out of the city and watch it fall to ruin like all other similarly run $hitholes. The fact I pay taxes to these criminals pisses me off to no end.

Wow! That's a great attitude. How in the heck does abandoning the fight and leaving help?

To you it may be abandoning the fight, but I'm with LarryP. As it is, I'm not represented justly by the politicians in my district at many levels. They represent only those who voted them into office and more importantly, their political party agenda. So for me, I'd rather move and retain my freedom, than stay and be stripped of my freedom by politicians who aren't willing to do their duty and represent the whole of the citizens in their districts, regardless of the political affiliation or if those citizens voted for them.

As usual, their recommendations include things that are already law. They have no idea what the laws in MN actually are. They haven't bothered to do any research before complaining. It's like suing a plumber without inspecting his work, because you're too lazy, and because a lobbyist told you that he did a ******* job and you just took his word for it.
Tony Martin. It could happen to us.

I would like to see a law that says you need to know your subject matter before making a law about it. Take Paymar for example, last year during Rob's demonstration of the Ruger 10/22's he was like "Oh, I wasn't aware of that and I bet many here weren't either", yet he and others were hell bent on banning things like collapsible stocks, fore grips, extended magazines, etc. that they didn't understand.

I don't necessarily blame them for not knowing, but do some research before going all out and proposing/backing legislation that would make something illegal for no good reason.
